12 mm "O Hook" Crochet Hook Reclaimed Wood with Cognac Natural Hue

Gorgeous!  These handmade 12 mm wooden crochet hooks are perfect for rag rug making with sheet yarn. I use this size hook when making lower profile rag rugs and use sheet yarn that is 1.25" to 1.75".  The 10 to 12 mm size was my favorite size for the first several years of making rag rugs. The slightly pointed tip helps you navigate into correct stitch however makes the pulling back through of the fabric easier on the hand, wrist and forearm.  My husband worked with me to tweak it for fabric rag rug crocheting.  I am pleased with the way it performs. They are 12 mm and approximately 8.5" long. Having a longer hook (8.5") makes it more comfortable than most standard crochet hooks. Some crochet hook charts say 12 mm is an O hook.  These wooden 12 mm crochet hooks are made with reclaimed wood with a natural cognac hue from it previous life, because they are handmade they will have slight variations. All the reclaimed wooden hooks are extremely smooth and slick feeling in your hand this makes the crocheting process easier and more relaxing.
